CLE Presentation at the Louisiana Workers’ Advocates Meeting

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013

I just returned from Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I had the pleasure of presenting a CLE training session during a  Louisiana Workers’ Advocates (LWA) meeting, based upon How David Beats Goliath.  LWA is an affiliate of the Workers’ Injury and Advocacy Group.

I’d like to thank my friends Chuck Davoli and Jenny Barber-Valois for their hospitality.  They made me feel so welcome and the LWA members were an attentive and responsive audience.

If you are looking for law practice management CLE content, feel free to contact me at [email protected].  Although my 2013 schedule is filling up, I would be happy to speak with you about the potential of a CLE presentation at your next trial lawyer meeting.  I believe in what trial lawyers do and I enjoy teaching them about the financial management of their law firms.

President and Chief Executive Officer

RD Legal Blogs about How David Beats Goliath®

Thursday, July 19th, 2012

On June 20, 2012 RD Legal Funding wrote a blog entry featuring the interview of Michael J. Swanson by Dan Goldstein of Page 1 Solutions.

The interview was conducted about Mr. Swanson’s book, How David Beats Goliath Access to Capital for Contingent – Fee Law Firms.

RD Legal states “… This book does a great job explaining the purpose of legal funding…” and “…Swanson illustrates in great detail why legal funding works, the kind of benefits it brings to plaintiffs, and how it can ultimately help the broken model of finance for law firms.…”

Thank you RD Legal Funding for helping to spread the word about a practical guide to law firm funding and the different forms of capital available to contingent–fee law firms.
